The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Polish: Wiedźmin 3: Dziki Gon) is a role-playing game, sequel to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, developed by CD Projekt RED and based on the literary saga of Geralt of Rivia written by Andrzej Sapkowski. CD Projekt RED is the developer while the distribution is carried out by Warner Bros. Interactive, in the case of Namco Bandai America and Europe. Its launch took place on May 19, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows.
The game has received high praise from critics and several awards. According to critics, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is considered the best role-playing game of all time and becoming one of the year’s best.
